Who is responsible
This policy applies to verixmed.com, run by Verixmed, a brand of Consumer Response Media. Verixmed decides how the information described here is used. Questions about it can go to info@verixmed.com or (800) 741-9835.
Reading the site
Every page can be read without giving us anything. The site runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Our server keeps ordinary request logs, such as the time of a visit and the address it came from, for security.
What the forms collect
The research updates form asks for your first and last name, your email address and the area of health you follow. A mobile number is optional and is needed only for texts. The contact form asks for your name, email and message. To prove your consent we also record when you signed up, which page you used, your IP address and your browser.
Verixmed never asks for medical records, diagnoses or insurance details.
How it is used
We use your details to send the updates you asked for, to reply when you write to us, and to keep a record of your consent. We use them for nothing else.
Mobile numbers and text consent
Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
To end texts, reply STOP to any message. The SMS terms have the details.
How long we keep it
Your sign-up stays active until you ask us to end it. We then delete your details within thirty days, apart from the record of your consent and of your opt-out, which we keep for as long as we may need to show them.
Your choices
By email or phone you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We answer within thirty days and honor any further rights your state gives you.
Keeping it safe
Forms on the site send information over an encrypted connection, and it is stored on servers with limited access. No system can be made perfectly secure, which is part of why we collect so little.
Children
Sign-up is for adults only. We do not knowingly hold details about anyone under 18.
When this policy changes
A change to this policy changes the date at the top. If it affects details you have already given us, we will let you know before it applies.
