verixmed.com is the website of Verixmed, a brand of Consumer Response Media. These terms cover reading the site, using the contact form and signing up for research updates. Please leave the site if you do not agree to them.
What Verixmed offers
Verixmed publishes general information about clinical research in six areas of health, a guide to how trials work, answers to common questions and short articles, and sends optional updates by email or text. Verixmed does not run, fund or recruit for studies. It is not a medical provider and gives no medical advice.
An update from Verixmed is information. It is not a referral, an enrollment or a suggestion that a particular study would take you.
General information only
The area pages and articles describe research in broad terms and cannot take your own health into account. Before starting, stopping or changing a treatment, or deciding about a study, speak with a qualified health professional.
Studies run by others
Verixmed does not link to other websites and does not speak for any study team. Studies are run by their own teams, whose details, rules and privacy practices are theirs alone, and which can change or close without notice.
Your sign-up
You must be 18 or older to sign up, and the details you give must be your own and accurate. You can ask us at any time to correct them or to end your sign-up.
SMS text messaging
Program description
The Verixmed research updates program sends recurring automated marketing text messages, sent directly by Verixmed, to people who opt in. They cover clinical research in the areas of health Verixmed writes about, above all the one you chose when you signed up, such as a new article or what studies in that area tend to ask of volunteers, plus messages about your sign-up itself. Every message starts with [Verixmed].
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number on the Research updates page or the contact form and checking the text message box, which is never checked for you.
Consent
Consent is not a condition of purchase or service, or of joining any study. Every page of verixmed.com can be read without agreeing to texts.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Verixmed does not charge for its texts.
Opting out
Reply STOP at any time to opt out and cancel. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. A phone call or an email to us does the same.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. How we look after your number and your consent is set out in the SMS terms and the Privacy policy.
Limits on liability
We work to keep every page accurate, but research moves faster than any summary, so we cannot promise that a page is complete or up to date. As far as the law allows, Verixmed is not responsible for loss that comes from using the site or from a decision about research.
When these terms change
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the version in force, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
