The research updates program
Verixmed, at verixmed.com, sends recurring automated marketing text messages to people who enter a mobile number on the Research updates page or the contact form and check the text message box. The messages are about clinical research in the areas of health Verixmed covers, mostly the one the person chose, and about the sign-up or message itself: its confirmation and the answers to HELP and STOP. Every message starts with [Verixmed].
People who leave the text message box empty get Verixmed’s updates by email alone.
From Verixmed and nobody else
Verixmed is not a referral or lead service. Your number, your consent and the area you chose stay with Verixmed, and no study team, sponsor or other company receives them. A text can tell you about research but cannot place you in a study: to take part, you contact the study team, and the team decides.
Opting in
Mobile numbers are collected only on the Research updates page and the contact form, each with a text message box that is never checked for you. After you opt in, Verixmed sends one text to confirm.
Consent is not a condition of purchase or service, or of joining any study.
How often
Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month.

Cost
Verixmed does not charge for its texts. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
Stopping
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. You can also ask by phone or email, and opt in again later whenever you like.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number
Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your consent with third parties for their own marketing. The Privacy policy covers everything else about your number.
